What if it works?

I am always listening to how people talk to themselves; the background voice that is telling them what they can and cannot do. I can always hear a hidden desire behind the white noise of limiting beliefs.
"I don't like my job, but I can't do anything about it now, I'm too _________ (old, comfortable, have too much seniority, can't learn something new, etc)."
"I'd love to live in the mountains, but I'd never be able to make it work."
"I've always wanted to make my art my career, but I would have no idea how to."
All these things our brain tells us to keep us safe.
But if you can just expand your thinking a little bit... try on the positive reframe. See how it feels to imagine, every day, that it might work. Think about all the ways your idea might flourish while you brush your teeth in the morning. Think about how full of potential and possibility you are when you brush your teeth before bed.
Your idea is a good idea.
You are capable of change.
You are talented, and strong - far beyond what you realize.
You may not know how to do it yet, and that is okay. Some things we figure out as we go along.
Trust the process.
Because what if it works?
